Got this picture tonight of Tyler and I from Thanksgiving. He was fighting a cold that I got shortly thereafter as well.

The Dog and the Bone
The Dog and the Bone is a fable ascribed to Aesop. According to the story, a dog was carrying a bone over a bridge. Looking down into the water, the dog saw its own reflection, which looked to him like another dog carrying another bone. Wanting the other dog’s bone as well as his own, the dog opened his mouth to bark at the “other” dog it saw, but in doing so, the dog dropped his own bone into the river, where it was gone for good.
The sad, hungry dog learned the hard lesson that, by being greedy, one risks what one already has.

Frosty The Sidewalk
I know I’m a city boy but the other morning when it was really cold outside I went to take my dog Wilbur out and saw these cool designs in the sidewalk. It looked like plants had grown over the sidewalk and left their frosty impression in the cement but the thing is there aren’t any plants even near the sidewalk which I thought was pretty interesting.

How Many Of Me
I’ve talked about this several times in the past but I just heard about a website yesterday via a podcast I listen to on my way into work in the mornings called HowManyOfMe.com which displays the popularity of your first and last name. I was glad to hear that 99.59 percent of people with the first name of Jeremy are male.
Magic Highway USA
An excerpt from the 1958 Disneyland TV show episode entitled Magic Highway USA. In this last part of the show, an exploration into possible future transportation technologies is made. I have always thought some type of cable car system would be the best way to get people long distances quickly, safely, and efficiently. It is interesting to see how many things we have and don’t have in our cars and transportation infrastructure today.
