Christina and I hiked the Pleasanton Ridge and had a great time today. We couldn't have asked for better weather, but I think we both got more sun than we intended. I spilled some iced coffee on my shirt about 25 minutes into the hike, if you're wondering what is up with that. I know who hikes with coffee? Yeah Jeremy does and that didn't work out so well for me. About 40 minutes into...

Otis Person
My parents let me know last night they had to put Otis down which surprisingly came as quite a shock. Otis has been a part of the Person family since I was in high school in Maryland. Otis was always my mom's dog as Maggie was my dad's. I will always remember the day my parents brought Otis home, he had never felt grass before so when they put him in the grass he didn't...
Clearwater, FL Panorama
Made it to Clearwater, FL today for a conference and some fun over the next few days. This is the view from my hotel room and yes I love Florida so far. I've been to Florida a few times prior to this, but I haven't been able to experience it like I will these next few days. Hoping to get in the ocean tomorrow for a swim before the events start. Yes, I know I...

From Mailman to Post Office Builder I recently participated in a LinkedIn discussion, and I wanted to open it up to the world (or anyone who wanted to read or contribute to it). It is partially edited so it reads better in a blog format. I thought what John Clarkson commented back was brilliant. What do you think? Any brave souls out there? Social media's value is that it is created and communicated by the...
Tony Robbins: Smart Marriage Conference

I follow Tony Robbins on Twitter who "tweeted" a link to this video today which I enjoyed and wanted to share. Below are my notes from the video: Tony Robbins has been obsessed with the question of what makes the difference in people's lives. Why is it that some people who have everything yet spend most of their life going into and out of rehab? Then you meet someone who has been abused or nobody...
Dallas Cowboys Stadium Tour
This morning we had our CMMA Board Meeting which was the work part, but the fun part was taking a private tour of the Dallas Cowboys stadium this afternoon! The stadium is amazing, and the stadium screen is even more amazing. I certainly didn't expect to get to do this on the tour, but we pretty much got to see every part of the stadium including the locker room and even go on the field...
