Lana and I went out to dinner last night for Mother's Day (OK a day early). Lana gave Tyler a sip of my Pepsi and he seemed to really like it. He has to wait another week before cake, other than that he hasn't had much sugar. To those who don't have kids yet, yes this is the stuff I guess parent's blog about.

Tyler drank with a straw today
We had lunch at a Thai food restaurant today, and they gave him a styrofoam cup of water with a straw. We have tried having him drink with a straw in the past, but today he figured it out and there was no stopping him. Remember those “crazy straws” growing up? I can't wait to give one to Tyler some day. We'll stick to the boring 'ol regular straws for now, but we were pretty proud of our little guy.
