Taco Bell ATV

Last week, when we were driving down to LA, we stopped at Taco Bell for a fantastic gourmet lunch.  We knew we weren’t in Kansas anymore when we saw an ATV chained to a sign outside the restaurant.  For some reason, I found it funny, but I have to admit I was slightly jealous I don’t get to drive one to Taco Bell where I’m from.  I’ve heard of riding a bike, a skateboard, maybe even a scooter, to a restaurant, but I’ve never seen someone drive an ATV to one!

Laura and Skyler’s Wedding

OK so I lied, my next post isn’t about the Hollywood homes tour.  Here are some of my favorite pictures from Laura and Skyler’s wedding.  There were so many pictures don’t feel offended if you didn’t make the cut.  I just went through and grabbed some good ones I liked via a once through.  Jill and Pat I liked your picture together as well.  You should consider yourself lucky if your picture isn’t exploited on my site.  Congratulations Laura and Skyler!

Some Random Pics

OK your not going to stop hearing about my new camera for a little while, I just love it!  On my walk this evening I took these shots to give it a test run and I think they turned out pretty well.

J. Diddy

Jason Parks sent me this picture with the following which was funny:  “You could be P. Ditty’s new bodyguard. We will call you J. Diddy and get you a big diamond earring and fancy sun glasses to bling you out. But don’t quit your day job”.  I guess I had that coming posting all of the Diddy pics didn’t I?

Nice Try: Kids of the Future

I never enjoyed C++ in college but I got through it.  It will be interesting to see if our kids grow up learning programming methodology in our schools.  Since technology is constantly changing it would be tough to teach a child a programming language they could use after graduating but if we taught students programming methodology it probably wouldn’t hurt.  If you have no idea what the comic means it is a kid who wrote a function to write “I will not throw paper airplanes in class” on the board 500 times. How do we teach our kids of tomorrow the skills they need for an ever changing technical workplace?
